    No, I don’t think it’s HTC’s fault. Pretty much ALL touchscreen OS are choppy in comparison with the iPhone, with the exception of the new Palm OS on the Pre and Pixi.

    Once again, Microsoft have failed to understand that the reason the iPhone works is because of its user-friendliness. Consumers LIKE one-touch operations and simple uncluttered screens. How can the marketing people at Microsoft keep getting this wrong? STOP OVER-COMPLICATING ALREADY!!!

    Windows Mobile 6.5 seems a little… I dunno… Choppier… Though that might just be HTC’s fault…

    @mhans311 I only got my iPhone so i could have a 3 inch light saber on me at all times. Sith lords use winmo and therefor have no way to defend themselves on the go.

    well theres a decent reply, thanks.

    Yes, but the HTC menus are Windows Mobile Menu’s. HTC just hosts Windows Mobile on their devices. You would find the same exact thing on something like a Samsung Omnia, or whatever else runs 6.5 pro. Phone doesn’t matter. Windows Mobile is Windows Mobile.

    @TechShow101

    The Windows Mobile phone intergrates better with PC. I found that the iPhone was not even in the ball park for business usage. For those who are business users and would like to have a true mobile work edge that will allow you to fully utilize most of you business apps remotely via phone, without a doubt the Windows Mobile phone is light years ahead of the iPhone.

    Are you retarded? Its not the “HTC” screen. Its the Windows Mobile screen dumb ass.

  19. mhans311 on January 21st, 2010 at 12:52 am says:

    @verivius actually winmo has a ton of apps. I know the iphone has more, but who really needs their phone to turn into a 3 inch light saber or make farting noises? Most of the apps in the iPhone app store are useless. Any functional app on an iPhone can be found on the windows mobile platform in a similar format. You have obviously never had a windows mobile phone before.

    HAHAAH, why would you need a jailbreak with a htc, dumb fuck.

  21. saqibd123new on January 21st, 2010 at 2:04 am says:

    iphone is simpler, however i think the htc menus and phone itself looks so much nicer and sophisticated

  22. ClypseProductions on January 21st, 2010 at 2:57 am says:

    As much as I agree about your app statement, not all people want games on there phones.

  23. verivius on January 21st, 2010 at 3:45 am says:

    winmo has no apps therefore it sux!

  24. jonn1414 on January 21st, 2010 at 4:07 am says:

    I remember seeing the Palm Pilot, the iPaq, mp3 players, mobile phones with WAP, then thinking, wouldn’t it be great if they could merge all these devices into one device. Then Apple took the initiative when they entered the phone market with the iPhone. The rest had/has to play catch-up. Thanks to this move from Apple, we all have better phones. Though somehow ‘phone’ don’t seem to quite cover what these devices are. These are proper pocket computers now. Let the competition continue.
